Chrono Trigger is a role-playing game released by Square, originally for the SNES and later for the PlayStation, Nintendo DS and mobile devices. It is often times regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time.

Sales history[]

On the Super Nintendo, the game went on to sell 2.31 million copies. In Japan it sold 2.03 million copies, while in America it went on to sell 289,000 copies. For the Nintendo DS version, the first day sales of the title in Japan were 176,000 copies sold, 46% of the initial shipment.
