NPD United States game sales figures for the first half of 2007, the periods of January 2007, February 2007, March 2007, April 2007, May 2007, June 2007

Wii had 2.1 million units in the first six months of 2007, while it's handheld sibling topped that with a monstrous 2.68 million. The Sony (PS3, PS2, PSP) family had 3.49 million hardware sales, although the PS3 seemed lag behind considerably in the second quarter moving only 262 thousand consoles. The PS3 still costs $499 and $599 for its 20 and 60GB systems, a price that may be too high for consumers. The Xbox 360 sold a solid 1.25 million. Only 80K units were sold of the 5 year old GameCube in the first quarter as Nintendo announced it would cease producing more units.[1]
