The Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s ninth generation hybrid console, succeeding both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. The system launched in early 2017. The main features are its capacitive screen, detachable wireless motion controllers and it’s charging dock converter which will output the tablet’s picture to a display via an HDMI cable (Switch Lite lacks the detachable controls and ability to be displayed on a separate display)
